This one moves in a different direction.
Built on dark synth textures, electro-driven rhythm, and a more restrained vocal delivery, “Static” leans into space and tension instead of volume. It’s not trying to overwhelm — it sits in that space where things feel slightly off, slightly unresolved.
At its core, the track is about communication breaking down.
Saying something clearly, but having it land completely different on the other side. Conversations that don’t connect. Moments where people are speaking, but not actually hearing each other.
“Static” isn’t tied to one situation. It can be heard a lot of different ways — in relationships, everyday interactions, or anywhere meaning starts to get lost between intention and perception.
It’s a quieter kind of tension, but it builds.
